I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. Before becoming a therapist, I spent close to ten years working in finance and government services, and I have volunteered with refugee communities both locally and internationally. Having grown up with many cultural influences, I bring a perspective that helps me appreciate the realities people face across different communities and life stages.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds, faith traditions, and identities. My practice is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive. I honour the wisdom of your lived experience and adapt therapy to your values, language, and cultural context. I am also attentive to the unique stresses of migration, intergenerational dynamics, and navigating multiple cultural worlds.
I am bilingual in Arabic and English and offer therapy in either language.
